The past 2 months!!!

Wow- it's about time... 2 months later... let me fill you in on what has happened!

The day after Thanksgiving my mom and I drove From Lacombe LA to Atascadero CA. We had our truck, our 2 dogs, our 2 cats and a snake. It was quite the adventure. We drove it in 3 days and stayed 2 nights... those nights were quite interesting, 7 of us in a Motel 6 room. loading and unloading was quite the chore. My mom was the greatest trooper ever.

Pretty Clouds through Texas.
And mountians.

We would each drive a tank of gas then switch... it worked out nicely. I got pulled over and given a warning for speeding and we got hit by a LARGE tumbleweed crossing the interstate.

We are all adjusting nicely. It is a bit of a change for us all. The dogs are loving Shaw's parent backyard and really enjoying the nice weather.

Dog Beach... Bear Bear loves that cold water!
Frodo is gone. He was always a wild cat. He came and went a few times until leaving for good about 3 weeks ago. Sam is enjoying lots of attention and stays in our room most of the time.

It was great being here for Christmas. We got to do some celebrating with both sides of the family. We got to spend New Years Eve together which we have not been able to do b/c of Shaw's schedule in 4 years.

My mom and I made my gram's famous round rolls. Great Christmas presents.

Shaw's mom Mellody and crazy Daisy Mae. With their matching scarves.

Shaw and his Brother.
Cool things about CA... They recycle!

I am really enjoying my job and Shaw really likes being able to see land from his rig.
Our house in Lousiana is still for sale. Praying that it will sell soon.
I'm back to blogging and Life is good!
